White bass love to hang out in freshwater bodies, especially in areas with plenty of oxygen. π
You can find them swimming around lakes,
rivers, and even some ponds. They prefer waters with sandy or gravel bottoms where they can hide from larger fish! π
During warmer months, they often move to shallow areas to spawn, or lay eggs. White bass are found in many parts of the United States, including the Great Lakes and rivers like the Mississippi. They're also found in Canada! They travel in schools, which means many of them swim together for safety.
