The Taymyr Peninsula is shaped like a giant triangular finger pointing north! 🌍
It is surrounded by water on three sides, with the Kara Sea to the west and the Laptev Sea to the east. The land is mostly flat, covered in tundra, which is a cold region with very little vegetation. 🌱
The climate is Arctic, meaning it has long,
freezing winters and short, cool summers. Due to this climate, only the hardiest plants like moss and lichen can grow here. It's a true winter wonderland, but it’s also extremely cold, so most people wouldn’t want to stay too long!
