After the Russian Civil War, the economy of Russia was in bad shape π. Factories were damaged, farms were destroyed, and there was a shortage of food. To help, the Bolshevik government started things like War Communism, trying to take control of major industries and distribute food more fairly π.
Later, in the 1920s, they introduced the
New Economic Policy (NEP), which allowed some private businesses to help recover the economy. These changes were important because they helped people get back to work and rebuild the economy after a time of hardship. Through hard work and courage, Russia slowly began to heal!
