Riley began in 1890 in Coventry, England, when two brothers, Carl and William Riley, opened a bicycle shop. 🚲
They soon started making cars! The first Riley car was built in 1898, called the Riley 1.5. In the 1920s and 1930s, Riley became famous for its racing cars, participating in races like the 24 Hours of Le Mans. 🏎
️ The company merged with the Triumph company in the 1960s. However, by 1969, the brand faded away, leaving behind
memories of its innovative designs and racing history! 🏆
