In the lower areas of Mount Everest, you can find many types of plants! ๐ณ
There are forests of pine,
rhododendron (Nepal's national flower), and oak trees. As you climb higher, plants start to disappear. Above 18,000 feet (5,500 meters), very few plants can survive. But, unique animals like the red panda, snow leopard, and Himalayan tahr thrive in the region! ๐พ
These animals are adapted to the cold and rocky landscapes. However, as you reach the high altitudes, animals become rare due to thin air and extreme conditions.
