Mount Everest is the tallest mountain in the world! 🏔

️ It stands proudly at a height of 29,032 feet (8,848.86 meters) above sea level. Located in the Himalayas, it sits on the border between Nepal and the Tibet region of China. Mount Everest is also known as Sagarmatha in Nepal and Chomolungma in Tibet. Many climbers dream of reaching the top, but it can be very challenging due to cold temperatures and thin air. People from all over the world try to conquer this giant mountain every year! 🌏

Climbers usually choose between two main routes to reach the top of Mount Everest. The most popular route is the South Col route starting from Nepal. It takes climbers through the famous Khumbu Icefall! 🧊

The second route is the North Ridge route from Tibet, which is less crowded but has its own challenges, like technical rock climbing! Each route has Base Camps where climbers set up before they continue their ascent. 🌄
