Memphis was located in
Lower Egypt, near the Nile River's edges, making it very fertile for farming. 🌾
The city had stunning architecture, with huge stone buildings, temples, and pyramids. One of the most famous pyramids, the Pyramid of Teti, can still be seen today! The Egyptians used limestone and mud bricks to build their impressive structures, which were decorated with beautiful carvings and paintings. ⛩
️ The city itself included the "Wall of the Crow," a large fortress that protected Memphis from invaders. Today, these ruins tell us much about the incredible engineering skills of ancient Egyptians!
