Once a female chooses a mate, they will find a nesting site, often in the
tundra with thick vegetation. The female lays about 4 to 6 eggs in a cozy nest made of plants and feathers. After about 26 days, the eggs hatch, and the ducklings emerge! π₯
They are ready to swim and dive almost immediately, and the mother guides them to the water for their first swim!
