The Juice mission started with ideas in the early 2000s. Scientists wanted to learn more about Jupiter and its moons. In 2012, ESA officially selected Juice as a part of their Cosmic Vision program. π
The spacecraft was built in Europe, and it took around 10 years to create it! After many tests, Juice was finally launched in 2023. With advanced technology, it has special instruments to study the moonsβ surfaces, atmospheres, and magnetic fields. The project involves hundreds of
people, including engineers, scientists, and researchers from different countries, all excited to reveal the mysteries of the solar system! πβ¨
