While Glagolitic has unique shapes, Cyrillic looks more like the letters we see in
English, like "ะ," "ะ," and "ะ." For example, both alphabets have letters for sounds like "ka," but the shapes are completely different! The Cyrillic alphabet became more popular because it was easier to write and print, which is why many Slavic countries use it today. ๐
So, while Glagolitic was the first, Cyrillic took over in many places, keeping some of the original sounds and ideas alive! ๐ซ
