Garfish have an interesting reproduction process. π
They lay eggs, and the females can release up to 10,000 eggs at once! These eggs are often found sticking to seaweed or rocks in shallow waters. After about two weeks, the eggs hatch, and tiny baby garfish emerge! π
These little fish are called fry and are about one
inch long. They need to find food quickly, and as they grow, they learn to swim fast just like their parents!
