Fountain pens date back to the 10th century, and they're still used today! 🕰
️ The first known fountain pen was created by an Arabic
inventor named Al-Jazari in 1206. But it wasn't very popular until the 19th century. In 1884, Lewis Waterman, an American, made a fountain pen with a capillary feed system, which helped the ink flow better! 🎉
Since then, different companies started making fountain pens, and they quickly became favored by writers and artists. By the early 1900s, brands like Parker and Sheaffer were well-known for their fancy designs. Today, people still enjoy writing with them!
