When the
Edsel Ranger was first introduced, people were excited to see new designs! π
However, many people didnβt like how it looked, and sales were much lower than Ford expected. In 1958, only about 63,000 Rangers were sold, while Ford wanted to sell over 200,000! π«
A big reason for this was that buyers felt the car was too different and complicated. By 1960, Ford decided to stop making Edsel cars altogether because of these disappointing sales. Sadly, the Edsel Ranger became a symbol of failed car ideas!
