Eagles are carnivores, meaning they eat meat. π
Bald Eagles mainly hunt fish, using their sharp eyesight to spot them
swimming in the water. They will also eat birds, small mammals, and carrion (dead animals). Golden Eagles, on the other hand, prefer hunting rabbits, squirrels, and sometimes even larger prey! When hunting, eagles are known for their amazing diving skills, where they swoop down at incredible speeds to catch their food. Some eagles can dive at speeds of over 150 miles per hour (241 kilometers per hour)!
